Components of Highly Effective Addiction Treatment Programs

Addiction and Recovery

For those who are struggling with addiction, the process of recovery can be a very personal and difficult thing to undertake. Throughout the recovery process, clients are guided through life changing exercises such as positive coping techniques, relapse prevention practices, and more. These exercises help clients build up their resilience. SAMHSA defines resilience as, “the context-specific ability to respond to stress, anxiety, trauma, crisis, or disaster.” They go on to say that, “resilience is also critical in the recovery stage where life skills and other supports can be accessed to manage future stress.” When seeking addiction treatment for yourself or someone you love, a highly effective program is necessary to foster the critical amount of resilience to allow for the maintenance of sobriety, post-treatment. As you begin to research the right type of addiction recovery program for you, there are several factors to consider.

Customized Recovery Plans

Each patient at United Drug Rehab Group receives an individualized recovery program that is tailored to her or his specific needs and addiction history. Every individual has experienced different aspects of addiction. Because of this, our network of providers is dedicated to creating personalized treatment for each client. In our vast experience, we have determined that individual recovery programs yield much more highly effective results than having every client go through the same exact treatment program.

Decreased Client Intake

At United Drug Rehab Group, our client to staff ratio is just about 1:1. This is hardly ever seen at most drug rehabs. It is our network of providers’ goal to give every client the attention and care that they need. We accept new clients through a rolling enrollment process. This allows us to keep a decreased client capacity and offer the highest quality of care. In this way. all of our in house patients have continual access to comprehensive care and our broad spectrum of services.

Flexible Length of Treatment

At enrollment, the duration of treatment will be determined with a case manager. All clients must participate in a few simple evaluations to give our case managers valuable information about their addiction history and severity. This allows our case managers to decide an appropriate length of treatment, which can range from 30 to 60 or 90 days. Throughout recovery, clients can consult with their case managers at any time to discuss altering the length of treatment to fit their needs.

Clinically Managed Detox

The process of detoxification must occur at the start of treatment so that the brain can let the body know that it is no longer physically dependent on daily substance abuse. At our drug rehab center, case managers evaluate each client to determine the level of support he or she will require throughout the detox process. A clinically managed detox enables clients to undergo the procedure in a safe and comfortable way.
Struggling to break the cycle of substance abuse is often impossible without medical supervision. United Drug Rehab Group’s supportive intake coordinators are standing by and ready to take your call. Our network of providers wants to facilitate a complete recovery for you or your loved one.
